This master’s thesis „Kinds and sources of financing of living“ is focused on options and sources of housing financing of an individual. It describes structure, extent and state of house and flat fund of Czech republic and capital city of Prague. It features different attributes of housing sectors. It describes state housing aid and its designation. It deeply describes savings and mortgage loans. Final part solves family’s housing need with the use of several financial sources and offers optimal solution based on multiple criteria.

Financing Options for Housing in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis „Financing options for housing in the Czech Republic“ is focused on the issues connected with financing one´s own housing. The goal of this work is mainly to introduce the issues and possibilities of financing housing of the citizens of the Czech Republic, analyze products that could be used while financing housing and compare the costs of financing housing, while using different bank products. In the theoretical part of the work, we obtain knowledge intentions and developments of housing policy in the Czech Republic; we clearly introduce with the products that are helpful while financing housing and their combinations. Insurance products are also mentioned in the thesis. Those products can protect citizens against unwanted influences during the period when they pay off their loans. We can also find here the recent development of loan products and bank market in the Czech Republic, its current offers and overview of its products, from which citizens can choose the most suitable one for their needs. Practical part of the thesis deals with the comparison and research in the least costly way of financing housing in three different time horizons with the help of one product or a combination of products.

Optimization of housing finance

This thesis deals with the possibilities of financing their own housing. The theoretical part will explain the basic concepts of housing finance. The work is described in the financing of legal entities and individuals. A separate chapter is devoted to mortgage loans. A separate chapter is devoted to building savings, which is more often used variant of housing finance. The practical part will be finding funding options to purchase their own home. Self housing will work in this particular object that will be compiled as part of the work and budget. On the basis of specific conditions, will be offered by banks mortgage loans. At the conclusion of the chosen optimal financing plan.

Suggestion of Financing of a Housing

This essay analyses possibilities of housing financing in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes basic types of housing financing, to be specific mortgages and credits given by the building savings bank. The analytical part is aimed to compare credits of specific banks and building saving banks. The last part contains model situations, which describe different options of housing financing. There are described advantages and disadvantages of these options and individual procedures, which are necessary for their realization.

Impact of Contractual Savings for Housing on Czech economy

The bachelor thesis deals with explains basic concepts concerning the contractual savings for housing. The aim of this work is to identify the impact of contractual savings for housing on the Czech economy. The first part describes general information on contractual savings for housing, its history, basic characteristic of this financial product and its further development in Czech Republic. Following topic this thesis focuses on are interest rates and comparison contractual savings for housing and mortgages. The second part of thesis is practical and deals with the impact of contractual savings for housing on employment and tax collecting. Benefits of contractual savings for housing to the state budget are described in this section.

Using Biomass for Cogeneration of Heat and Electricity

Theoretical part is concerned to disposal of biomass kinds and various forms of applications. The basic characteristic for each kind of biomass and their forms are presented. Characteristics of energy plants and woods are more detailed. In work are described two fundamental kinds of combustion, fluid combustion and grate combustion, which are used in power plants and heating plants. The work describes process of gasification and obtaining wood gas from biomass. Evaluation of (energy plants, wood biomass and the rest from agriculture production – straw) in light of heating power, treatment, handling, ash creation and environment pollution is provided. Work is concerned to redemption price history, volume of produced biomass and perspective to future. Czech Republic legislation gives support to biomass usage by guarantee for electric energy purchasing and same redemption price perspective. Explain term of cogeneration, possibility of cegeneration units application – their kinds with fuel usage aspect (biogas, natural gas, wood gas). Practical part is concerned to design of such kind of unit. Cogeneration unit will be installed in company, which producing wood. For this reason will be used wood biomass to produce wood gas. Size of unit, fuel consumption, and cost saving in comparison to electric energy together with recovery of investment are calculated. In work is drawn out possibility to connect this unit to distribution electrical network, possibility of electric energy distribution and due this to improve backflow. Noticeable are possibilities to get state grant from various grant sources.

State aid in the Field of Healthcare

1 State aid in the Field of Healthcare Abstract Health care in modern welfare states of the European Union member countries requires financing from public sources. However, member states also prohibit most forms of state aid in the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The interpretation of the primary law in the decisional practice has confirmed in a long-term, that in the healthcare sector the competitive environment clashes with the public financing aspect. The Court of Justice and European Commission have repeatedly found ways how to deal with such a conflict. This thesis analyses court's case-law and the practice and soft law documents of European Commission, to establish which solutions are functional for the healthcare field, and which questions remain opened. For that purpose, it especially focuses on the exception for services of general economic interest according to Article 106 Paragraph 2 of the TFEU and on the interpretations of the term undertaking and the terms favouring and distortion of competition, contained in the definition of prohibited state aid. In the explored cases, the decision practice differentiates social funds lead by the principle of solidarity from the undertakings, which are subjected to EU competition law regulation. Úprava státních podpor v rámci pravidel Evropské unie

The control of state aid from the EU is an essential component of the competition policy and vital part of an effective competition and free trade. Despite its importance, this area of competition law lacked behind in the scientific research compared to the research of the regulation of cartels and abuse of dominant position. Being explored in the thesis is the notion of state aid, then how is this concept defined in the legislation, case law and literature with a particular focus on small and medium-sized businesses and agribusinesses. Dissertation analyzes the development of state aid in the current period, mainly how the European institutions respond to changing economic conditions. The thesis is divided into several logical parts. The first part describes the methodology and methods used in the work such as the Coase's Theorem and the case study and it explains how the relation between law and economics works. The second part focuses on primary and secondary legislation concerning state aid. The third part deals with the analysis of the concept of state aid in terms of existing law and the development of understanding of the concept in the past. The fourth part deals with current changes in the allocation of state aid. The conclusion discusses the results and problematic areas to be focused on by the EU institutions are proposed.
